Interleaved 2 of 5 is a continuous two-width barcode symbology encoding digits. It is used commercially on 135 film and on cartons of some products.*
Labeljoy requires you to enter up to 255 digits to generate the barcode.

Interleaved 2 of 5 barcodes can include an optional check digit. The check digit may be encoded in the symbol, and optionally displayed in the human readable text as well.
Define check digit settings using the Checksum combo box.

Text concatenation:
When an Interleaved 2 of 5 barcode element is generated by concatenating fields or counters, the following rule applies:
- Only texts containing digits will be considered.
When a value not complying with the above rule is found, the barcode is not displayed.
The human readable text can also be shown above the symbol or hidden according to the setting specified in the Text combo box.
