custom database connection

This step, dedicated to experts, enables you to manually specify a connection string for the data you wish to connect to.
Use this option if none of the pre-set connections mode apply to your data scenario.

Custom connection strings must be Microsoft ADO compliant, please see here for more information.

Enter the connection string and click Next.
Before moving to the next step, the connection will be tested and you will only be able to move forward once a connection has been successfully established with the data source.
